Several overseas setups exist. Which should you pick?
Use the app your provider recommends — no need to learn the names.

At a glance
Bought a ready-made route? Use the app they recommend. Running your own server? An AI assistant can help set it up. No technology name guarantees a steady connection.
Separate the service, protocol and client
The service or server supplies your connection configuration. The protocol describes how a compatible client and server communicate. The client is the app on your device. A name such as VLESS does not tell you which subscription format, transport settings or credentials a provider supplies.
Start with the configuration you actually have
Use the provider’s current instructions for a managed subscription. For a self-hosted node, confirm both server and client support the chosen configuration before deploying. Do not convert protocols or paste unknown configuration snippets just to follow a different tutorial. See client setup for the device path.
Let AI handle the initial setup
An AI agent can handle the installation and generate a subscription link or QR code. With the server and access ready, allow around 3–5 minutes for the setup flow, although deployment may take longer. Import once and connect from your device; daily intervention is usually unnecessary. Renew your monthly plan before expiry to keep using it. Occasional route failures or updates still need attention; see the AI-assisted setup flow.
