A bilingual internet guide for visitors to China: choose plans, set up devices and fix connection problems. We provide guides, not network services.
Understand the cost. Follow the connection.See what a travel eSIM, a ready-made route or your own server can do, and what each costs.
Download, paste your link, connect, test — with a link for every step.
Choose by budget, trip and device to avoid paying for what you do not need.
We compare cost, how easy it is to set up, and whether China apps still work. Results vary by network, so test on your own phone.
RoamChina never handles your internet traffic, runs no VPN servers and doesn’t buy plans on your behalf. Each service is provided by its own company.
We may earn a commission from purchases through some external links. Review prices, terms and suitability before buying.
If you find a broken link, outdated instruction or unclear step, tell us which page and device were involved.
Send your questions and suggestions in Chinese or English.
